Blazon: I raudt ein gull bølgjeforma trillingstreng, skråstilt høgre venstre.
In English: Gules three bendlets wavy or.
Approved by the royal resolution of 11 March 1976 after a drawing by Magnus Hardeland. [c2j87]
The design symbolizes the Suldalslågen - a river flowing through the town from Suldalsvatnet lake to the Strand.
