Lord of Kouriyama Castle in Yamato Province. In 1576, Oda Nobunaga gave him Yamato Province. In 1580, he built a castle in Kouriyama and ruled the whole Yamato area. In 1584, he disobeyed Akechi Mitsuhide in the Battle of Yamazaki and later died of an illness at the young age of 36. The war banner has a white background with black kanji letters 春日大明神Kasuga Daimyojin. That was founded in 768 by the Fujiwara family at Kasuga-taisha Shrine in Nara Prefecture.
