The village emblem was adopted on Mar 10th 1979 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green, a blue and a red three color village emblem in the center. The village emblem is a stylized kanji 中 Naka of Nakagusuku. The circle symbolizes the village people’s concord, Gosamaru’s swirl crest does sincerity and the umbonal part of 中 does the village’s development. The green color stands for fertile field, the blue color for the sea and sky and the red color for the village people’s passion.
