The municipality of Vita (90 inhabitants in 2014: 1,659 ha) is located in the north of the Province of Ávila, 45 km of Ávila.

Symbols of Vita

The flag and arms of Vita are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 31 December 2013 by the Municipal Council (unanimously), signed on 1 July 2014 by the Mayor, and published on 15 July 2014 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 134, p. 50,549 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular panel, in proportions 3:2 (length on height), vertically divided into two stripes, green at hoist and yellow at fly. In the center, the municipal coat of arms.
Coat of arms: Spanish shield. Vert a holly oak or dexter three arrows argent per pale, bend sinister and bend sinister a spike of the same, the base argent five fesses wavy azure. The shield surmounted with a Spanish Royal crown closed.
