Description of the Flag

Flag of the governorate as seen on the official website. A blue flag with a white cog wheel. Not sure if it changed over the years or has been like that all the time. Size of cog wheel seems to be 1/2 of flag length. Red flame in center.

The coat of arms and flag show a flame in a cogwheel as an indication of the industry - cogwheel - and the oil and gas deposits - flame - in the governorate.
