Here is the flag of the city of Güstrow according to the City Statutes. Güstrow was the administration seat of Güstrow county, located in the State Mecklenburg-Westpomerania. The flag was adopted on 8 June 1999; The Coat of Arms was adopted 8 June 1999.

Vertical Flag Variant

Description of banner:
It is a yellow - green vertical bicolour, the traditional colours of the city. The coat of arms is shifted to the top.
In variant. the shield is red, and the bull is sinister facing. The elements else are the same as in current coat of arms.
