Coat of Arms

Shield Or, an annulet Gules, on top charged by a fleury hook Gules.
Meaning:
The arms display an old village symbol. Its meaning is not known, but it is first appeared in a document from 1625. The seal probably is a bit older. The symbol is also used on 18th century boundary stones.
The arms were approved in 1926. Raunheim gained city rights in 1966.
