It is a blue-yellow-blue vertical tricolour, divided 1:4:1 with coat of arms shifted to the top within the yellow field.

Kefferhausen Coat of Arms

The shield is green with a blue base wavy; issuant from base a golden, embattled wall, masoned black with golden port; in chief two golden linden leaves, ordered per fess.
Meaning:
Base and wall are alluding to the fountain of Unstrut River, where baptisms took place since 531. Linden trees are the predominant species in the municipality.
